Topic: In the Presence of the Lord is Fullness of Joy

God is always present. How do we know? God is everywhere.

Hebrews 13:5, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Gospel and Joy:

Where do we go in the Bible to share the Gospel…Philippians? The word “Gospel” is used 9x in the letter to the Philippians. “Joy, unity and contentedness” is used 14x in the letter. The book of Romans uses the word “Gospel” 10x. “Jesus” is used 21x. “Christ” is used 39x. The “Lord” is used 16x. All of this compared to the other books in the Bible. Philippians is a Gospel centered letter, a joy centered letter and a Jesus centered letter to the Philippian church.

Verse 7- defense and confirmation of the Gospel
