Monday Evening Chapel

Evening Chapel Message

The campers learned 3 ways  to look at scripture for better understanding and knowledge.

How do we study the Bible?
Who
What
Where

Acts chapter 9: 1-19
What Saul was like before he became a Christian.
Saul had an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. He went blind for 3 days, the Lord spoke to him. The Lord’s mercy, grace and love surpassed anything Saul had ever or could ever do in his life. The man that brought initial destruction to destroy Christianity became a Christian himself. The Lord gave Saul a new name and it was Paul. Paul came to write 13 books of the Bible.

Take home:
We don’t deserve the love of God.
It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in your past, Jesus has the power to change you.

“We live in a world that everybody wants to change. You can change things you do; only Jesus can change who you are. And once he changes who you are, that changes what you do.”

Amen!

We are not promised tomorrow!
