Off to a great start!

On Sunday we welcomed over 110 campers to Camp Iroquoina Soccer Camp 2016!

It was a challenge to get the camp ready. We ended up very short staffed on Saturday and yet God stretched us and showed us how He is in control. We pulled together and got all the campers through registration and onto the soccer field.

We praise God for the new and beautiful Chapel barn. Picture to come!!

It's Friday

Praise the Lord! Friday is here are all every excited for today's events!

The campers started off their day hearing from the speaker about the authenticity of the Bible. Rob said, "Anywhere you look it a perfect example of there being a creator" He gave multiple examples from history such as, Johannes Kepler (German mathematician in the 17th century) knew God is omniscient because every single snowflake is different.

Check out the Pictures page and today's page for more pictures later tonight!

SORRY!! The internet was down at camp Friday night and Saturday morning so I could not post pics.

Beautiful day!

Praise the Lord! It is a beautiful day and the temperature is a comfortable 73 degrees with an occasional cool breeze! The sick campers and staff are recovering quickly. Check out Wednesday's page for more pictures.

Prayer

We are in the middle of the week already. It has gone so fast! Keep us in prayers as some campers and staff are coming down with the stomach bug! We have seen it come and go quickly.

The rest of the campers are looking rested and cheerful as they devour their delicious pancake breakfast!

The rain has come!

It is officially soccer camp! The rain has come in buckets! Thankfully, it did not last long. Campers were back on the field. Tonight we had our "cook-out" dinner that was served indoors.  Hot dogs and hamburgers hit the spot! It was excellent!

Our chapel times have been very powerful and effective. Campers are very intrigued and have started asking deeper questions. Rob Sullivan is teaching this week about biblical prophecy and how it relates to the end times. It is exciting to see how many prophecy have been fulfilled already. We are learning about the truth and validity of scripture and why we should believe it.

Last night, Rob illustrated how God is a god of love using Romans 5:1-2 and Romans 5:6-9. Then he gave us the verse from 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9. He said, " You will be saved from destruction, if you know God.If you are not sure if you know God, then you don't know him."

Keep him and the other leaders in camp in prayer as we dig deeper into God's word. I'll try to get some camper perspectives for you too!
